The George O. Bierkoe Distinguished Member Award - selected on the basis of an individuals embodiment of the Hallmarks of the Society, emphasizing participation in scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship. Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society has recognized academic excellence in the two-year college since 1918 and has become the largest and the most prestigious honor society serving two-year colleges around the world. Membership is based primarily upon academic achievement.

The Howard R. Swearer Student Humanitarian Award from Brown University, Providence, Road Island.  The award recognizes a spectrum of efforts, from individual commitment and service in the community to the ability to create a viable organization and involve others. It is recognition of outstanding public service during the preceding twelve-month period. The individual has shown evidence of an innovative approach to a social, educational, environmental, health, economic, or legal issue within a community. The applicant demonstrates initiative and ability to translate ideas into practical results.
 
James W McSwiney Leadership Award - Is given in recognition of effective leadership which includes Strong management skills, Protocol and etiquette skills, An appreciation and understanding of diversity, and Strong sense of ethics and human values. The spirit of the leadership is to inculcate confidence, a strong sense of human value, and the integration and application of the servant-leadership concept in giving back to one's community.
